I have just seen the flyer for the latest book on SOLO Taxonomy – First Steps with SOLO Taxonomy – Applying the model in your classroom.

5892_NZ_A5FlyerIt is a timely release – First steps and next steps.  There have been so many new developments and opportunities since I wrote the first two books in 2011 and 2012 – that it is great to have the opportunity to write an update featuring the best of the old plus the best of the new. John Biggs will be dead chuffed.

Featuring new strategies, templates, maps, rubrics, apps, posters, infographics and videos for schools to use in 2015 – it is going to create quite a buzz.

It has been a busy summer break – but a summer break with great outcomes – three new books in press – ready to be published by the fabulous team at Essential Resources in the next month or so.

Hook,P. (In press). First steps in SOLO Taxonomy. Applying the model in your classroom. Essential Resources Educational Publishers Limited. New Zealand.

Hook, P., Saxton, R., and Hickman, R. (In press). SOLO Taxonomy in Learning Support. Building academic and social success. Essential Resources Educational Publishers Limited. New Zealand.

Hook, P., Wall, S. and Manger, R. (In press). An Action Research Project with SOLO Taxonomy. How to introduce and use SOLO as a model of learning across a school. Essential Resources Educational Publishers Limited. New Zealand.
