The latest HookED SOLO Map the SOLO Describe ++ Map has been getting some great feedback from primary and secondary teachers alike.

Secondary teachers are commenting on the deeper insights and structures seen in student writing for achievement merit and excellence outcomes. Primary teachers are noting the improvements in the quality and quantity of student responses when doing descriptive writing, explanations and report writing.
The map is a gruntier version of the SOLO Describe map and asks student to integrate several strands of extended abstract thinking in their wrap up generalisation statement.
