When DK emailed me ahead of the Learning at School 2012 conference he had an offer that captured ALL of my attention.

Pam, Hope you are well and smiling? My name is DK and Im the social media manager for CORE Education Part of my very funky role is to create some funkier digital content which is of interest to the attendees of Learning@School 2012. Would love to explore doing a 5 minute video skype interview with your good self focussing the topics youll be presenting on. This will literally take 15mins of your time at the most 🙂

I was well and and I was smiling but it was an involuntary expression of anxiety kind of smiling -and there was something in the expectation of funkiness that jiggled my sense of wellness unsettling its gentle equilibrium would this be a you have been weighed for funkiness, you have been measured for funkiness and you have been found wanting for funkiness kind of experience?  Invitations to a collective funkiness often do this to me funkiness both espoused and enacted are troubling one persons deliberate act of digital funky too easily becomes a deliberate act of digital clunky to another.

I asked for a couple of days before answering DKs request I wanted to do some digital funkiness trawling of my own.

I contacted a school, a teacher and a group of young filmmakers (and by default a chicken) who know heaps about my work with SOLO Taxonomy and have considerable expertise in creating funky digital content.

Check out what they created.
